Really pleased to be on the bill of Glasgow Radiophrenia , curated by Barry Burns and Mark Vernon ( see preceding post) and running from April 13-19. A new edit of my piece "The State Funeral Of Joe Meek" on at 8.30 on Tuesday the 14th. How good is this? Neil Nixon's trawl through the unusual and unmentionable includes the Beatles, Wesley Willis, Elvis, Richard Skelton, and me. There's a nice piece on my " Black Patch" collection ( in this blog somewhere). Very chuffed indeed. And its a great book, very funny, very sharp.
